Astonishing news from Walvis Bay, Namibia, where scientists from the Namibian Dolphin project on Tuesday confirmed the sighting of a grey whale. Not only has this north Pacific species been extinct in the Atlantic since the 18th century, it has never been seen south of the equator.

    Friday Nights

Lately my Friday nights consist of a cup of tea, a double chocolate Milano or two, Spotify radio, This Old House (Essex project), Open Studio with Jared Bowen, Fashion Police, and catching up on posts from the 140+ blogs I have bookmarked.

A little quiet, but all in all a lovely way to end the week.
